Outriders update worsened the situation in the game’s community: some gamers are afraid to enter the shooter
Square Enix and People Can Fly recently released a patch for the RPG shooter Outriders to fix an issue with disappearing items in players’ inventory. However, it turned out differently: some gamers who had not previously encountered this bug stumbled upon it after installing the update, which undermined the project’s credibility.
The fix was to prevent new instances of the error from occurring. But for some reason, players who had previously managed to avoid erasing their inventory entered Outriders and found that all of their belongings were gone. People Can Fly responded quickly and asked users to submit a report. The developer calls them “rare cases. ” While this may be true, mistrust of the latest update has spread dramatically in the gaming community.
Someone is already laughing at the game, and someone is afraid to launch it until they are sure that all the problems related to the inventory have been fixed. This is a miserable situation for the team, as players are now difficult to convince to return to the shooter, the essence of which is to get better and better equipment. That being said, People Can Fly promises to restore the inventory of affected users but cannot guarantee that the stats of items will remain the same.
Outriders are out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
