Pending Expansion: Fall Guys Appears Cuphead Character Skins By Week End
Independent studio MDHR announced on its microblog that, as part of its partnership with Mediatonic, the multiplayer arcade game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will feature Cuphead costumes.
We are talking about the appearance of the two main characters of the hardcore action-platformer Studio MDHR – Cuphead and his brother Mage. The first will appear in the game on February 24, and the second will have to wait until February 27.
The Cuphead characters’ costumes will cost 10 in-game crowns (five hats for each of the two skin elements). Five more units of the local currency will be offered to pay for a unique gesture.
As for the skins themselves, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout’s Cuphead and Magman were showcased in a teaser image (attached below) that mimics one of Cuphead’s pre-release illustrations.
The upcoming teaming up with the Cuphead developers is far from the first such initiative in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout history. In January, for example, the game was expanded with costumes from the shooter DOOM Eternal.
While Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is only available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4, the multiplayer arcade game will reach Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Nintendo Switch next summer.
As for Cuphead, now its developers are busy with the plot expansion The Delicious Last Course. The expansion has been pushed back more than once, with the latest delay pushing the addon back to 2021.
