AvtoVAZ has repeatedly spoken about plans to assemble cars under the Lada brand at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg, and now there are reasons to think that Bestune T77 will become one of these “co-branded” models. A bright yellow crossover was filmed right at AvtoVAZ.

Perhaps this is how the new Lada crossover for 2 million rubles looks like.
Naturally, there is no official confirmation of this (although the production of “Chinese” with the Lada nameplate at the Nissan plant will begin in a month or two ), but the Bestune T77 may well become a “VAZ Moskvich”. And this comparison is not at all accidental.
Firstly, the fate of the Bestune T77 will be the same as that of the JAC JS4: they will simply Russify the car, replace it a little (at the first stage, you can count on domestic tires, wheels, batteries – everything that is easy to replace) and stick a domestic nameplate on the body. Secondly, like the JAC JS4, which is sold in parallel with its copy – Moskvich 3, the “new” Lada crossover will be sold in parallel with the Bestune T77 – this car is presented on the official Russian FAW website.
Bestune T77 is a mid-size crossover with dimensions of 4525 x 1845 x 1615 mm and a wheelbase of 2700 mm. A 1.5-liter turbocharged engine produces 160 hp. In the basic version, it is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, in all others – with a 7-speed “robot”. Already in the base it has a fully LED light, a sunroof, a full set of security systems, including 6 airbags and ABS, ESP, EBA, TCS (the products of AvtoVAZ itself do not yet have such a “luxury”), two screens with a diagonal of 12.3 inches.
The cost of Bestune T77 varies from 2.17 million to 2.432 million rubles. With branded “benefits” – from 2.02 million to 2.282 million rubles. Obviously, the version under the Lada nameplate should be somewhat more accessible. For example, 2 million rubles without any “benefits”. It will turn out to be a worthy competitor to Moskvich 3.
