PlayStation 5 controller can work with PC, Android and xCloud

The PlayStation 5 will go on sale in November, but some popular video bloggers have already received the console for review. Due to Sony’s strict ban, we will probably be able to see the reviews themselves only a few days before the release of the system. But some bloggers couldn’t resist the opportunity to unbox the new DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5.

For example, the popular YouTuber Austin Evans shared his impressions of the new game manipulator. Comparing the DualSense to the DualShock 4 for the PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 4 Pro showed that the new gamepad is not much, but still larger than its predecessor.

The blogger tried to connect the DualSense to the PlayStation 4 Pro, but wirelessly the old console did not recognize it. Even with a wired connection, the new controller did not function with the old console. However, the console recognized it and turned on the battery charging, and also activated the built-in microphone. In comparison, the Xbox One and the new Xbox Series S / X controllers are backward compatible. By the way, Evans also connected DualSense to the Xbox Series X. The console also recognized it as an Xbox controller, but DualSense did not work with it.

Apart from the lack of feedback support, everything else worked fine. DualSense also immediately became friends with a PC: the gamepad was connected via a wire to the new Microsoft Surface Laptop Go. All the control buttons were functional.

After that, Evans disassembled the DualSense and discovered a 1560 mAh lithium-ion battery. For comparison, the same DualShock 4 for the PlayStation 4 uses a 1000 mAh battery.

PlayStation 5 will go on sale in Russia on November 19. The version with a floppy drive will cost 46,999 rubles, and for the version without an optical drive, you will have to pay 37,999 rubles.
