For PS Plus Premium subscribers
Sony has revealed a new feature coming soon to PS5 owners as part of their PS Plus subscription. It’s about cloud streaming games.
This refers to the ability to play PlayStation 5 games from the cloud without downloading them to the console. This will apply to PS Plus games and games purchased digitally from gamers. Firstly, such a function will make it possible not to wait for the game to be downloaded to the console, and secondly, games will not take up space on the drive.
PlayStation 5 owners will soon get a new useful feature.
The feature will appear as part of the PS Plus Premium plan. Of course, not all games will be able to work from the cloud, but only supported ones.
We think it’s important that Premium subscribers can enjoy as many games as possible via cloud streaming. As more games continue to launch on the PS5 console, we look forward to cloud streaming for PS5 games in addition to the PS3, PS4 and classic games that are already available to stream to Premium subscribers.
