Police have stated that there is no suspicion surrounding the passing of Sinéad O’Connor, the Irish singer

Police have confirmed that the passing of Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor is not being treated as suspicious. The 56-year-old artist was found unresponsive at a residence in London, and despite efforts to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Metropolitan Police released a statement indicating that they responded to a call reporting an unresponsive woman in the SE24 area on Wednesday, 26 July. They have ruled out any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, and her next of kin has been informed.

As of now, the specific medical cause of Sinéad O’Connor’s death remains undisclosed, with London’s Inner South Coroner’s Court announcing that an autopsy is required. It may take several weeks before the results become available, at which point the coroner’s court will determine if an inquest is necessary.
