The novelty weighs almost 900 g
A new player is about to enter the Windows handheld gaming console market. Meteorish showed a prefix with a nondescript name TJD T101, which hides at least a very bright appearance.
As you can see, the console is not made in the most typical design, and it is painted very brightly. In addition, there are several design options.
Portable game console Meteorish TJD T101 received a giant 10-inch screen
The pictures alone don’t give an idea of the size, but it’s a huge device. Suffice it to say that the display here has a diagonal of 10.1 inches! For comparison, the Steam Deck has a seven-inch screen. If we talk about the dimensions more accurately, it is 343 x 155 x 19.9 mm versus 298 x 117 x 49 mm for the Steam Deck. The thickness in the first case is indicated as very small, but this is a hoax: we are talking about the thickness of the part of the case where the screen is located. The novelty weighs an impressive 890 g.
As for the characteristics, everything is very familiar for modern consoles. The heart is either Ryzen 5 7640U or Ryzen 7 7840U. There are from 16 to 64 GB of RAM and SSD from 512 GB to 4 TB. The screen resolution is 1920 x 1200 pixels.
You can also highlight Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, USB 3.2 Gen2, a pair of USB4, a slot for microSD.
In late August or early September, the company will go on Indiegogo to raise funds for the launch of the console. It is known that the version with Ryzen 5 7640U, 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD will cost $600, and the modification with Ryzen 7 7840U, 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB SSD will cost $1000. But it is not clear whether these are retail prices or crowdfunding campaign prices.
