The car will receive a large trapezoidal air intake occupying the front bumper under the radiator grille. The car has stock headlights, but the details are harder to see from the rear. The taillights remain covered, hiding the updated design, but BMW hasn’t hidden the four exhaust pipes sticking out at the rear.
Previous spy photos showed the car’s cabin. BMW covered the dashboard, steering wheel, driver’s door card, center console and part of the seats with black fabric, but it was clear that the car would have a small gear selector and two charging ports next to the cup holder.
It is not yet known when BMW will introduce the updated 1 Series. This could happen before the end of the year.
