The new Unihertz Tank 2 smartphone is presented, equipped with a 15,500 mAh battery, a shock-resistant case and a laser projector function.
Tank 2 is the second model in the Unihertz Tank series, with the original Unihertz Tank featuring the same rugged design and larger 22,000 mAh battery that provides up to 100 days of standby time and a week or more of mixed use.
The Unihertz Tank 2 sacrifices some of its battery capacity in exchange for a lighter design and a 40 lumens laser projector with 1280 x 720 resolution, and offers other upgrades, including 50% more memory and a faster screen refresh rate, but with the same platform.

The Unihertz Tank 2 features a 6.81-inch 2340 x 1080 (19.5:9) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is based on the MediaTek Helio G99 single-chip system and received 12 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 256 GB of flash memory and support for microSD memory cards up to 1 TB. Supports 66-watt charging via USB-C.
The novelty has a 108-megapixel main camera, 64-megapixel night vision camera, 16-megapixel wide-angle and 32-megapixel front camera. The smartphone meets the degree of protection IP68, passed the MIL-STD-810H test.
There is support for Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 4G VolTE, a fingerprint scanner, a face recognition sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack.
