QNAP Launches Wi-Fi 6 Card for PC and NAS
QNAP Systems has announced the QXP-W6-AX200 expansion card designed to provide wireless connectivity to a personal computer, workstation, or network-attached storage (NAS).
The novelty supports Wi-Fi 6, or 802.11ax. It provides twice the theoretical throughput of 802.11ac Wave-2.
Supports work in two frequency ranges – 2.4 and 5 GHz. The declared data transfer rate reaches 2400 Mbps.
Of course, compatibility with other Wi-Fi wireless communication standards is realized – 802.11a / b / g / n / ac. In addition, Bluetooth 5.0 wireless communication is supported as part of Windows systems.
The novelty is made in the form of a low-profile card with a PCIe Gen2 x1 interface. The scope of delivery includes standard and reduced height mounting rails, which allows the solution to be used in various form factors.
The price of the QXP-W6-AX200, unfortunately, has not been specified.
