The cards are about the same price.
It looks like the Radeon RX 7700 XT graphics card will be faster than the Radeon RX 6800 in terms of performance. At least in benchmarks.
Insider @9550pro published a screenshot with the GPU-Z program, which describes the parameters of the adapter, and at the same time indicated an approximate performance level: about 17,000 points in 3DMark Time Spy.
We already know the characteristics from the moment of the announcement, but the result of the test is already more interesting. The RX 6800 scores about 16,000 points, which means the new product is about 6% faster. The RX 6800 XT is 13-14% faster than the new product.
Radeon RX 7700 XT will be only marginally faster than RX 6800
As a reminder, the RX 7700 XT is priced at $450 or €490 in Europe. For comparison, the RX 6800 in Europe can now be purchased from 460 euros, and the RX 6800 XT costs from 540 euros.
The RX 7800 XT is unlikely to be dramatically faster than the RX 7700 XT, given the specs. That is the RX 7800 XT will not be particularly faster than the RX 6800 XT.
The information was shared by insider @9550pro, who has long proven his knowledge. In particular, he was recently the first to share data on overclocking the GeForce RTX 4090 to 3 GHz and showed testing results at this frequency.
