Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare introduced for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch

These are not remasters, but original games.

Rockstar has made an announcement confirming that Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare will release on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on August 17th.

Immerse yourself in Red Dead Redemption – an epic adventure in the Wild West – and its inimitable sequel to the zombie horror genre – Undead Nightmare. Both classics will be released in one bundle for the first time on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Thanks to the new version of the game from Double Eleven Studios, fans of the series and newcomers to the series will be able to enjoy both games on modern consoles. The PlayStation 4 version is compatible with the PlayStation 5.

Red Dead Redemption is one of the most successful games in history, with over 170 Game of the Year awards. It tells about the former bandit John Marston, and the events unfold immediately after Red Dead Redemption 2.

Both games added support for new languages, including Chinese (simplified and traditional), Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, and Russian.

On October 13, the game is expected to be released on physical media.
