The name is quite uncomplicated, but it immediately makes it clear that the novelty is based on a still very rare type of panel. Technically, this monitor repeats what we have previously seen from other manufacturers using QD-OLED.
Red Magic QD-OLED Gaming Monitor Introduced
We are talking about a diagonal of 49 inches, a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels and a frame rate of 240 Hz. The monitor supports Freesync and G-Sync, stands out with 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, has USB-C ports with support for 90W USB PD, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4.
No pricing details yet, but we can expect the Red Magic monitor to be cheaper than a comparable Samsung device, which is less than $2,000.
