Earlier Redmi confirmed that the company is preparing to release a flagship smartphone based on the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. Presumably, this smartphone will be the Redmi K40 Pro, which should replace the current flagship Redmi K30 Pro on the market.
Redmi K40 Pro will leave the proprietary retractable camera
According to the latest data, Redmi K40 Pro will lose the proprietary retractable selfie camera that the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro had. The source claims that Redmi K40 Pro will be equipped with a more traditional front-facing camera for most smartphones in the upper left corner of the screen.
