Sales start today in China
Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group and General Manager of the Redmi brand, has confirmed that the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone, or Redmi K60 Extreme Edition, has officially gone on sale in China.
Initially, buyers are offered the basic version, which is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory – it costs $ 360. The top-of-the-line version with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of flash storage is priced at $495 and will go on sale on August 22.
Redmi K60 Ultra instantly became a super hit and set several records
The Redmi K60 Ultra set several new records:
over 220,000 smartphones were sold in the first 5 minutes;
the record for smartphones of the Ultra series is broken;
broke sales records at JD.com and Tmall in this price range.
Redmi K60 Ultra is equipped with a Dimensity 9200+ single-chip system and gains more than 1.77 million points in AnTuTu. The smartphone received a 6.67-inch screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a resolution of 1.5K. It uses Huaxing’s latest C7 luminescent material, which greatly reduces power consumption.
Redmi K60 Ultra received a 5000 mAh battery and supports 120 W fast charging. The main camera is equipped with a Sony IMX800 sensor with optical stabilization. This is the first Redmi smartphone with IP68 dust and water resistance.
