Naturally, the firmware will be based on Android 14
According to the GSMChina resource, Xiaomi has already prepared a test build of HyperOS for the budget model Redmi Note 12 4G, as well as the 4G NFC version. The corresponding assemblies are already on Xiaomi servers, they are designated OS1.0.1.0.UMTMIXM and OS1.0.1.0.UMGMIXM.
Redmi Note 12 will soon receive HyperOS – this will be its first big update
This suggests that the public version of HyperOS will soon be released for the Redmi Note 12 4G – GSMChina believes that the release for participants in the HyperOS Pilot Tester beta program will take place in mid-December. If the beta version comes out this early, then the final version will also come out early, in which case the Redmi Note 12 4G could be one of the first global models (that is, outside of China) to have HyperOS available.
Let us remind you that Redmi Note 12 4G was released in March of this year. The smartphone is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED screen, a 50-megapixel camera, and a 5000 mAh battery with 33 W charging support.
