According to the executive producer of Oculus Studios, Mike Doran (Mike Doran), we are talking about complete exclusivity – which means that Resident Evil 4 VR will be able to play neither the owners of the PC nor other helmets from Oculus (Rift, Rift S, Quest).

When Resident Evil 4 VR becomes available to users of Oculus Quest 2, it is not specified. However, they promised to share additional details of the upcoming release as part of the Oculus Gaming Showcase broadcast.

The Texas Armature Studio, known for Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate and the recent Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary collection, is responsible for bringing Resident Evil 4 to virtual reality.

In the VR version of Resident Evil 4, they promise full immersion in the atmosphere of the game, including thanks to the first-person mode and “further saturate and deepen” the experience already loved by millions.

As part of the Resident Evil Showcase, only fragments of the gameplay of Resident Evil 4 VR were shown (the segment dedicated to the project starts at 48:55). At the same time, a full demonstration is expected at the said Oculus show.

The broadcast of the Oculus Gaming Showcase will begin on April 22 this year at 1:00 Moscow time. In addition to Resident Evil 4 VR, the show will feature Pistol Whip, Lone Echo II, and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge.
