Rugged smartphone Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 will receive an HD + screen and just one rear camera
Internet sources have released quite detailed specifications of the protected Galaxy XCover 5 smartphone, which is being prepared for release by the South Korean company Samsung.
It is reported that the device will receive a 5.3-inch HD + display with a resolution of 1600 × 900 pixels. There will be a 5-megapixel camera in front, and a single rear camera will be able to create images with a resolution of up to 16 million pixels.
The equipment will include 4 GB of RAM, a flash drive with a capacity of 64 GB, and a USB Type-C port. Power will be provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh with a 15-watt recharge.
If you believe the available data, the smartphone will be available in versions with support for 5G mobile communications and without. In this case, different processors will be used: in particular, it is known that the version without a 5G modem will receive a proprietary Exynos 850 chip with eight cores, operating at a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz
The device will ship with the Android 11 operating system. It will be protected from moisture and dust, and a durable case will withstand shocks and drops.
According to IDC estimates, last year Samsung shipped 266.7 million smartphones in the global market, taking first place in the ranking of the leading suppliers with a share of approximately 20.6%.
