Huawei has started selling the Chinese version of the Huawei Watch 4 series. Unlike the global Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro, the Chinese models received a unique non-invasive glucometer function.
According to the manufacturer, the Chinese version of Huawei Watch 4 and Watch 4 Pro is the world’s first smartwatch with the function of non-invasive blood sugar monitoring.
Chinese users can buy watches at the following prices (the price depends on the design, materials of the case and bracelet):
- Huawei Watch 4 Venus White (white leather strap) – $412;
- Huawei Watch 4 Moon Black (black FKM strap) – $384;
- Huawei Watch 4 Saturn Brown (brown leather strap) – $412;
- Huawei Watch 4 Pro Jupiter Brown (dark brown leather strap) – $484;
- Huawei Watch 4 Pro Mars Titanium (titanium bracelet) – $569;
- Huawei Watch 4 Pro Blue Earth (blue composite strap) – $520
The non-invasive glucometer algorithm collects data from heart rate monitoring and ECG. Evaluation requires the wearer to wear the watch for 7 consecutive days.

The watch also offers health features such as arterial stiffness, skin temperature, ECG, blood oxygen (SpO2), fall detection, and so on. Both models received 5ATM water resistance, GPS, eSIM and NFC support, as well as a built-in microphone and speaker for communication.
The watch is equipped with a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED screen. The Huawei Watch 4 has a 46mm stainless steel case, while the Watch 4 Pro has a 48mm titanium case. The basic version offers up to 14 days of battery life, while the Pro offers up to 21 days of battery life.
