Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha convertible laptop gets 13.3 “touchscreen and Intel Tiger Lake chip

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha convertible laptop, which is already available for pre-order at an estimated price of $ 850, with actual sales starting May 14.

The device received a 13.3-inch touchscreen display that can be rotated 360 degrees to convert a laptop into a tablet. The screen has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (Format Full HD) and a maximum luminance of 600 cd / m 2.

It is based on the Intel Tiger Lake hardware platform. In particular, a Core i7-1165G7 processor is involved, equipped with four cores to process up to eight instruction streams simultaneously. The clock speed ranges from 2.8 to 4.7 GHz.

The computer carries onboard up to 16 GB of RAM and a solid-state drive with up to 512 GB capacity. There are stereo speakers (2×1.5W), a 720p webcam, a backlit keyboard, and a fingerprint reader.

 

Connection to wireless networks is provided by Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax 2×2) controllers. Available interfaces include HDMI, USB Type-C, USB 3.2, and a combo audio jack. In addition, there is a microSD card slot.

The operating system Windows 10 Home is installed on the laptop. A rechargeable battery provides power with a capacity of 54 Wh.
