The troubled history of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is about to come to an end: it will be done, to confirm it now is Samsung itself with the usual page first published, then removed
The second generation of Samsung’s Fan Edition will arrive on the market but will be remembered for a long time by fans. “Fault” of one of the most complicated gestations that Samsung has ever faced, and if we will probably never know the reason for the difficulties, it is easy to assume that the chip crisis has played its role.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE should have arrived on the market several months ago, and already in the summer, the picture was almost complete. “A matter of days,” they said in August, yet, when the presentation seemed imminent, at a certain point the project underwent a series of postponements, until the cancellation that had concretized the fears. Then, after a few weeks of silence in which the cancellation of an apparently done and finished project now seemed official, the tail blow: Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will arrive on the market, it was said in October, but it will do so in 2022. And all the clues continue to point in this direction.
Galaxy S21 FE will be done: Samsung’s confirmation
But now the clues are very concrete, to the point that they can be considered real official confirmations. Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in fact has made its way into none other than Samsung portals. The most concrete comes from the division of the United Arab Emirates, in which the company has set up a page dedicated to SM-G990E / DS (later disappeared, but in the photo, you can see our screenshot of the new model), in other words to the variant of Galaxy S21 FE which will be sold in that region. In our part, it will arrive instead with the code SM-G990B / DS, as attested by the rumors that came previously and now also from the same support pages set up on the Samsung Italia portal.
In short, now the clues are confirmations provided by Samsung itself. On the UAE portal, there has been (in the last few hours it has been removed) a small image of the product that confirms the aesthetics leaked at the hands of rumors in the past weeks, which in fact carves “on stone” everything that has been said in the past recent, meaning that the aesthetics of Galaxy S21 FE will differ little or nothing from that of the product from which it derives. Samsung seems to want to tell fans that Galaxy S21 FE will certainly arrive.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, how it will be
Said of the official confirmation on Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, it is worthwhile to retrace the features recently put on the plate by rumors. The Fan Edition will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an integrated fingerprint reader.
To manage the operations there will be the Exynos 2100 or the Snapdragon 888: it is impossible to say which of the two chips will come to us at present, it will depend on the supplies. To integrate the equipment there will be 8 GB of memory RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage space. Cameras: 64 MP the main rear, then an ultra-wide-angle and a third deep, while for selfies there will be a 32 MP one.
The battery will be 4,500 mAh with 15-watt charging, while the colors will be four: White, Lavender, Cream, Black.
