Distribution is gradual
Samsung Electronics has officially rolled out the big One UI 5.1.1 update for foldable smartphones and tablets, and One UI 5 Watch for older smartwatches.
The update should arrive on the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 in August, while the Z Fold3, Z Flip3, Z Fold2, and Z Flip are expected to receive the latest One UI build at a later date. The update brings several features to the recently released Z Fold5 and Z Flip5, including a custom toolbar for the Flex Mode panel and a new media panel with fast forward and rewind buttons, enhanced multitasking capabilities.
Samsung has released a major functional update for “old” smartphones, tablets and smartwatches
The One UI 5 Watch update will be available for all Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 models, bringing new sleep information, personalized training heart rates and the ability to track runs, now on the map.
One UI 5.1.1 update will receive folding smartphones:
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4;
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G;
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G;
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G;
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
One UI 5.1.1 update will receive tablets:
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S8;
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+;
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra;
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S7;
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+;
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE;
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite;
- Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021);
- Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite;
- Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3;
- Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro.
One UI 5 Watch update will receive smartwatches:
- Samsung Galaxy Watch5;
- Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro;
- Samsung Galaxy Watch4;
- Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic.
