Samsung Electronics has introduced a special edition of the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro smartphone. It is designed in the style of the classic Samsung SGH-E700 flip phone ( review ), which debuted back in 2003.
As Samsung noted, the SGH-E700 made a significant impact on the market with its unique design and capabilities back in 2003, almost 20 years ago. The SGH-E700 was a groundbreaking phone at the time as it was the first Samsung phone to have a built-in antenna.
Samsung has released a retro version of the Galaxy Z Flip5
The Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro has several features of the SGH-E700, such as a blue-silver color scheme, pixel graphics, and special animations on the flexible screen.
Includes three cards featuring Samsung-era logos, a case, and a Samsung E700 trading card with a unique engraved serial number.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro will be available in limited quantities in South Korea, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Australia. The phone will go on sale in South Korea from November 1, and in other countries from November 2, 2023.
