Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) received OneUI 2.0 and Android 10

The Samsung Galaxy A9, which was released at the end of 2018, was the first smartphone in the world with four modules in the main camera. This week, the manufacturer began distributing OneUI 2.0 and Android 10 for this smartphone.

Out of the box, OneUI 2.0 and Android 10 ran the graphical shell of Samsung Experience 9.0 based on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The released update has the serial number A920FXXU3CTCD, it is already distributed in the European region for the global version of the smartphone. This is the last major update for this smartphone.

The release of OneUI 2.0 and Android 10 for the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) was not a surprise since the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A7, which were also released in 2018, received this update earlier.

The new firmware contains all the features and capabilities of Android 10, including a global dark theme, an updated gesture-based navigation system, new icons, sounds. In addition, the March March Android security patch of March 2020 was included in the update.
