Samsung introduced One UI 6.0 based on Android 14

Lots of new things, but nothing about the release date of the final version

At the Samsung Developer Conference 2023 event, the Korean company officially presented the One UI 6.0 shell. This happened a day after the release of the final version of Android 14. Of course, One UI 6.0 is also built on Android 14.

In general, One UI 6.0 is not something new, Samsung has already released several beta versions of the interface, and many participants in the beta testing program are using this firmware with all their might. But the formal premiere of One UI 6.0 is taking place right now.

Samsung Galaxy users are most concerned about the question of when the final version of One UI 6.0 will be released, but the company has not answered it. According to unofficial data (and logically), the final release will take place before the end of the year for models of the Galaxy S23 line.

There is a lot that is new in One UI 6.0: an updated quick access panel to settings in the curtain, a new font, and new editing capabilities using AI. In One UI 6.0, the Samsung Studio application appeared, which allows you to use layers in pre-editing videos (much like in Adobe Premiere Pro and other similar editors).

Samsung will improve multitasking in One UI 6.0, and also update the weather widget, browser, and calendar. The smart Airplane mode will appear. An additional layer of protection will be added in the form of the Auto Blocker application, which will protect the smartphone from running malicious code when connected via USB. In general, there are a lot of innovations, we just have to wait for the release of the final version.
