Samsung QX2 120Hz FreeSync Gaming TVs Revealed
Samsung has announced the QX2 family of smart TVs in an ultra-thin design: the panels are HDR10 + compatible and correspond to the 4K format; that is, they have a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels.
The series includes three models – with a screen diagonal of 55, 65, and 75 inches. They carry onboard a high-performance Quantum Dot 4K processor as well as a 20W audio system. The Tizen operating system is used as a software platform.
TVs are great for games, including dynamic ones. The refresh rate is 120 Hz, and AMD FreeSync technology avoids the slightest “freezing” and screen tearing.
The equipment includes Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless adapters, four HDMI interfaces, two USB ports, and an Ethernet network port.
As noted above, the panels boast an ultra-thin profile: the thickness without stand is only about 27 mm. Users will be able to interact with the intelligent voice assistant Bixby.
Smart TVs Samsung QX2 will go on sale next week – April 14th. The 55, 65 and 75-inch versions will be priced at $ 1,070, $ 1,375, and $ 2,290, respectively.
