Samsung is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G, which has already been teased on Twitter.

Samsung teases first Galaxy M smartphone with a huge battery, 90Hz screen, and 5G support

This smartphone should be the first 5G phone in the Galaxy M lineup. Considering that the teaser has already appeared online, the launch should take place in a few days or weeks.

According to previous reports, the smartphone has model number SM-M426B / DS and has been spotted on Geekbench, Wi-Fi Alliance, Chinese agency 3C, Indian BIS, and elsewhere. The phone will run Android 11 with One UI.

It is already known that the smartphone will come with a 64MP main camera as well as a 32MP front camera. Samsung Galaxy M42 will receive a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with support for a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a built-in fingerprint sensor. It will run on a 6000 mAh battery and support fast charging.

The phone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC. Geekbench confirms that the device under test has an Adreno 619 GPU, which also matches the Snapdragon 750G 5G.

Samsung is also working on several more 5G smartphones, including the Galaxy M62 5G and Galaxy A22 5G.
