Samsung to showcase OLED monitors at CES 2021
Resource LetsGoDigital reports that Samsung intends to present computer monitors made using organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021.
The preparation of such panels is indicated by the new OLED trademark provided by Samsung, the registration of which was submitted by the South Korean giant to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The document states that the OLED brand provided by Samsung can be used for computer monitors, televisions, various signage, and flexible displays.
Observers believe that Samsung is close to producing high-end OLED monitors for personal computers. The first models are expected to measure 33-35 inches diagonally.
We add that the CES 2021 exhibition will be held from January 11 to 14 in a fully digital format. Thus, about a month remains before the alleged presentation of Samsung monitors with an OLED matrix.
