Samsung unveils slim 15.6-inch Galaxy Book with 4G / LTE support
In addition to the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 laptops, Samsung Electronics announced the Galaxy Book portable computer equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels.
The eleventh generation Intel Core processor is used: modifications with Core i7 and Core i5 chips equipped with an Intel Iris Xe graphics accelerator will be offered to customers.
The amount of LPDDR4x RAM can be up to 16 GB. The storage subsystem includes an M.2 solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB (you can install another M.2 SSD); you can also install a microSD card.
Wi-Fi 802.11ax 2 × 2 and Bluetooth 5.1 controllers are responsible for the wireless communication capabilities, and some modifications are endowed with a 4G / LTE modem for connecting to mobile networks.
The laptop’s arsenal includes a 720p webcam, a Dolby Atmos audio system with 2W stereo speakers, a fingerprint scanner, two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Type-A connectors, and an HDMI 1.4 interface. Dimensions are 356.6 x 229.1 x 15.4 mm, weight – 1.55 kg.
The laptop is running Windows 10 Home. A rechargeable battery provides power with a capacity of 54 Wh. Prices start at around 800 euros.
