Samsung will soon release the Galaxy A82 on the Snapdragon 855+ platform – the smartphone was noted in the Google Play console
Over the past few days, many news and rumors have appeared on the overseas Internet segment related to the Samsung Galaxy A82 smartphone. Today, the Gizmochina portal posted his photos found in the Google Play Console developer database.
The only thing that is still unclear is whether the found image is an official render of the device or just a stub. Nevertheless, its appearance in the Play Console means that the work on the smartphone is in full swing; moreover, it has already been certified by Google to pre-install Google Services in the final stages.
The spec sheet confirmed information from the Geekbench benchmark that the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 855+ processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on the configuration.
The display resolution is 1080 × 2400 pixels at 450 dpi. Out of the box, the Galaxy A82 will ship with Android 11 preinstalled. The device has also been listed on the Bluetooth SIG certifier list, confirming that it supports Bluetooth 5.0.
The Galaxy A82 is expected to replace the Galaxy A80, which appeared in 2019 and had a rotating camera. Well-known insider Evan Blass recently announced that the Galaxy A82 would be equipped with a “dual-use” camera, indicating that the smartphone will have a “liquid” lens camera like the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold. A feature of the “liquid” lens is the ability to change its shape under the influence of electrical impulses. From this, you can implement several modes in one camera – from portrait to macro photography.
