Samsung will soon unveil the Galaxy W21 foldable 5G smartphone

The first information about the Galaxy W21 model appeared last month. Then it was said that the novelty will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, a 5G modem, and a Wi-Fi 6 wireless controller with support for 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

Now the device is “lit up” in the database of the China Telecommunication Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA) and on the website of the organization 3C (China Compulsory Certificate).

It is indicated that the smartphone is equipped with two displays, one of which has a size of 6.23 inches diagonally. A two-component rechargeable battery in the configuration of 2090 + 2160 mAh (4250 mAh in total) is used. In addition, the dimensions are indicated – 128.2 × 159.2 × 6.2 mm.

Thus, we can conclude that the Galaxy W21 will be a slightly modified version of the Galaxy Z Fold2. The latter is endowed with a 6.23-inch external screen and a flexible main display with a diagonal of 7.6 inches. In the unfolded state, it has dimensions of 128.2 × 159.2 × 6.9 mm (the thickness is indicated taking into account the camera unit), while the total capacity of the batteries is 4500 mAh.

According to rumors, the official presentation of the Galaxy W21 will take place next month.
