Samsung has not disclosed its official position on this issue until now.

Recently, Samsung Electronics released the June 2023 Android security update for the Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones. However, after installing the update, users began to complain about the appearance of green and pink vertical lines on the screen.

This is not the first time a Samsung phone has experienced this issue. Many Galaxy smartphone users have complained about the automatic appearance of green and pink lines on the screens of their phones. However, Samsung has not disclosed its official position on this issue until now.

However, a precedent has now occurred. One Galaxy Note 20 Ultra user confirmed that the South Korean firm replaced the phone’s OLED screen and even the battery for free, even though the device’s warranty had long since expired.

According to one version, such generosity of Samsung is due to the fact that the company did not test the software properly before the release.

However, the problems are not necessarily related to the software. Phones from other brands that use Samsung Display OLED screens experience the “striped” screen issue from time to time.
