By 2030, they plan to produce up to 160 engines annually
An important stage in the creation of the Russian medium-haul narrow-body passenger airliner MS-21: the UEC-Perm Motors enterprise launched serial production of the PD-14 turbofan engine for this aircraft.

“ UEC-Perm Motors has begun serial production of the PD-14 engine for the Russian medium-haul aircraft MS-21-310. By 2030, the annual production of MC-21 aircraft in Russia should be 72 pieces and 160 PD-14 engines should be produced annually , ”said Vadim Badekha, General Director of the United Engine Corporation (UEC) of Rostec.
Recall that on December 29 last year, the Irkut Corporation received a certificate for the PD-14 and the composite wing for the MS-21. Rostec then noted that in 2022, the MS-21 with PD-14 made over 160 successful test flights. Serial MS-21 with PD-14 should appear in 2024
