Sharp announced the release of its first TVs with OLED screens at the beginning of the year, and now, according to a source, the new products are officially presented on the Japanese home market. The CQ1 series includes two models – with screens with a diagonal of 55 and 65 inches. The cost starts at $ 2600.

In the news, they reportedly use OLED panels with 4K resolution from LG Display and the new Medalist S1 image processor. There are several HDMI 2.0 ports, Android TV acts as the OS. Sharp does not say anything about plans to expand the geography of sales of new products, but more details about this may appear in September at IFA 2020 in Berlin if it is not canceled. And the company may announce plans for the US market at CES 2021 in January next year.
