Huawei Assistant virtual assistant and Huawei Browser will fly “over the air” with the next update EMUI

According to the thematic resource HuaweiCentral, in connection with the protracted sanctions of the American authorities, Huawei wants to expand the use of proprietary solutions prepared to replace Google services and applications. And now we are talking not about smartphones on which Google services are not available initially, but about older models where GMS continues to work.
At the moment, Huawei Assistant virtual assistant is available for those who wish to install through the AppGallery application store and the official website, however, the company decided to go ahead and automatically install it on smartphones with a firmware update. The update will also include the Huawei Browser branded browser and Smart Charging technology, designed to slow down the aging of the battery.
Huawei is preparing relevant updates for smartphones with EMUI 9.1 and EMUI 10.0. As expected, they will begin to spread “over the air” on smartphones Huawei and Honor in May. The exact list of models is still unknown.
