Price starts at $930
Vivo has officially announced that the flagship camera phone Vivo X90 Pro + today goes on sale in China.
The base version, which comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of non-volatile flash storage, costs $930, while the higher version, with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of flash storage, costs $1,000.
This is the world’s first commercial smartphone based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip system, as well as the world’s first phone equipped with a Samsung AMOLED E6 screen.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform is complemented by Vivo’s proprietary V2 chip, which is responsible for processing images from the camera, as well as the fastest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash memory. It also has a periscope module with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor that provides 100x zoom. In addition, the Vivo X90 Pro + debuted a 50-megapixel Sony IMX758 sensor.
Vivo X90 Pro + received a 4700 mAh battery with support for 80 W wired charging and 50 W wireless power. The equipment includes an NFC module, an IR emitter, stereo speakers.
The phone is IP68 rated and runs Android 13 operating system with OriginOS 3 shell.
