Insider Digital Chat Station shared performance data on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
According to his data, in AnTuTu (apparently version 10), the new platform scores about 2 million points. By comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 scores around 1.6 million, although, as always, results vary greatly by smartphone model. You can also remember that the A17 Pro SoC in the new iPhone scores about 1.5 million points.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 leaves the Apple A17 Pro far behind.
The main performance increase comes from the GPU: the new one is 40% faster than the old one. The CPU in the new SoC is 15-16% faster than last year’s solution. In addition, the new Qualcomm platform may support LPDDR5T memory, just like the Dimensity 9300.
Digital Chat Station was previously the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of the Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10, and Mi 11.
