The device is credited with the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor. The chip contains eight Kryo 560 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz, an Adreno 619L graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X51 5G cellular modem.
Model Xperia Ace 2 will be a compact smartphone equipped with a 5.5-inch screen diagonally. It is said about a side fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack.
According to rumors, an 8-megapixel camera will be located in the front. The main dual camera will be endowed with a 13-megapixel image sensor. Other technical characteristics of the device have not yet been disclosed.
Note that last year, the global smartphone market fell significantly due to the pandemic. According to Gartner estimates, 1.35 billion smartphones were shipped, which is 12.5% less than in 2019, when shipments were equal to 1.54 billion units.
