Sony Playstation 4 last big update ahead of Playstation 5 release

Playstation 4 firmware version 8.00 has a very extensive list of announced changes. Apparently, this will be the last major software update for the Playstation 4 before the release of the Playstation 5.

Among the innovations, there are changes for “Party” (Party) and “Messages” (Messages), parental control, and other sections of the system. So, you can create new groups for communication in voice chat, as well as join an existing group. Removed the settings for “Hangouts” “open” / “closed”, only members of the group can join. You can turn off all microphones through the quick menu. And these are not all the changes that await users with the release of firmware 8.00.

The last major update to PlayStation 4 at 7.00 brought changes to Hangouts, as well as Android support for Remote Play. The release date for the stable version of the Playstation 4 firmware version 8.00 has not yet been determined by Sony
