Elon Musk’s new record
On Monday, June 12, SpaceX launched two missions: a Falcon 9 rocket with a payload of 52 Starlink satellites and another, as part of the Transporter-8 mission, with 72 mini-satellites.
The Starlink satellites have been launched into low Earth orbit, where they will join more than 4,000 Starlink satellites in orbit, which provide high-speed, low-latency broadband Internet access to approximately 1.5 million users worldwide.
SpaceX has successfully returned 200 rockets to Earth.
The first stage booster also successfully landed on the drone ship Just Read the Introduction in the Atlantic Ocean. The second mission included a first stage booster that had previously been used on eight other missions. She also landed successfully seven minutes after launch.
