SpaceX launches batch of Starlink satellites into orbit and successfully returns Falcon 9 to Earth again

This is the tenth successful SpaceX launch in 2021. The Falcon 9 rocket launched from the Cape Canaveral launch site in Florida at 12:34 p.m. US East Coast time (19:34 Moscow time).

SpaceX also successfully returned the first stage of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle to Earth – the Of Course I Still Love You automatic offshore platform located in the Atlantic Ocean. The stage is designed for 10 launches before overhaul, and the total duration of its “life” can reach 100 missions.

As a result, the number of Starlink satellites launched has reached 1,445, but slightly fewer continue to operate in orbit – about 1.3 thousand.
