Square Enix has announced plans to host a live stream next month to mark the 26th anniversary of the Live A Live role-playing game on its official website.

The stream will begin on October 3 of this year at 14:00 Moscow time, and you can follow what is happening on YouTube: further in the text, the player of the upcoming broadcast is attached.

The broadcast will feature Live A Live director Takashi Tokita, combat system designer Nobuyuki Inoue, composer Yoko Shimomura, and artist Kazuyuki Kurashima.

Among other things, Square Enix promised fans of Live A Live to celebrate the 26th anniversary of the classic role-playing game a kind of “surprise that can be enjoyed with everyone. “

Earlier, the Japanese publisher filed applications for registration of the Live A Live trademark in several regions outside Japan at once. This happened as recently as July of this year.

English is specified as the language of the app in two of the three applications, although officially Live A Live is only available in Japanese. Probably Square Enix is preparing a re-release (or even re-release) of the project.

Live A Live was released in Japan on September 2, 1994, via the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (aka Super Famicom). The project became the directorial debut of Tokita, who later led the development of Chrono Trigger.
