It’s just called Fengyun T9
At the Chery Technology DAY event, the company presented its new flagship crossover Fengyun T9.
More precisely, we can say that this is a new version of the flagship crossover Chery Tiggo 9: the visual differences between them are minimal, and the main difference in technology is that the Fengyun T9 received a hybrid power plant with the ability to recharge the traction battery from an outlet. T9 will lead the Fengyun line for some time, later it will include the Fengyun A9 and Fengyun T11 models.
In terms of external design, Fengyun T9 differs from Tiggo 9 in its closed front part: there is no radiator grille as such, the air intake is located only in the lower part of the bumper. Chery did not touch the rear of the car at all. The equipment and interior design of Fengyun T9 and Tiggo 9 also do not differ from each other.
Super-economical Chery Tiggo 9 presented
The dimensions of Fengyun T9 are the same as those of Tiggo 9: 4820 × 1930 × 1710 mm with a wheelbase length of 2820 mm. Although this is a fairly large crossover and a flagship one at that, it is still mid-size.
The Fengyun T9’s powerplant is a system called Kungpeng Super Performance Electric Hybrid C-DM with a 1.5-liter turbo engine, a pair of electric motors, a three-speed 3DHT transmission and a traction battery with a capacity of 34.4 kWh. The total power of the power plant elements is 460 hp, and the declared average consumption is 5.7 l / 100 km. On pure electricity, the crossover can travel up to 160 km, with a maximum range of 1,321 km. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
