T-Mobile reveals all key specs of OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro
OnePlus, ahead of the announcement of the OnePlus 9 series smartphones, scheduled for March 23, has already announced some details about the new devices. But the American operator T-Mobile went further and published pages with the characteristics of both unannounced models – the older OnePlus 9 Pro and the usual OnePlus 9.
Both devices will receive a Snapdragon 888 chip with a 5G modem, a 16-megapixel front camera, 4500 mAh lithium-polymer batteries, and will not have a 3.5 mm audio jack. The company will release options for devices with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB flash drives. Both smartphones will only support one Nano SIM card (at least the T-Mobile version).
The younger model with a size of 160 × 74.2 mm will receive a 6.55-inch display with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels, and the older one (163.2 × 73.6 mm) – 6.7-inch, 1440 × 3216. Rear camera array OnePlus The 9 is represented by 48-megapixel, 50-megapixel, and 2-megapixel modules, and the 9 Pro also adds an 8-megapixel sensor. Both support 4K video recording at 60fps. Hasselblad had a hand in the cameras.
It is officially known that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will receive displays based on low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO), which is characterized by lower power consumption. They support adaptive refresh rates from 5Hz to 120Hz and 10-bit color output, meaning they can display up to 1.07 billion colors. It is also reported to support 8192 dimming steps.
The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are expected to receive the included 65W charger and support 50W wireless charging. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau recently confirmed an affordable flagship OnePlus 9R, but whether it will be presented on March 23 is not specified.
