Geely has unveiled the 001 FR through its Zeekr division and released the first images of the model. It will have a new interior design, a slightly revised exterior and a laser rangefinder on the roof.
The first official images of the Zeekr 001 FR have been posted on the brand’s official Instagram account. It retains the overall design of the standard Zeekr 001 liftback. The most obvious of these is the new front bumper. It has more aggressive air intakes, a front spoiler and a red stripe. In the post itself, Zeekr stated, “Plaid is boring.” It is clear that the Zeekr 001 FR is going to compete with the Tesla Model S Plaid.
Zeekr 001 FR received a new LCD instrument panel. The central tunnel remained unchanged, with the exception of a new color scheme. The seats have been redesigned, as have the door cards. The Zeekr 001 FR will also receive a new software version for the multimedia system.
Dimensions, transmission and other characteristics of the Zeekr 001 FR have not yet been disclosed. The power of the standard Zeekr 001 is up to 544 hp, but in order to compete with the Tesla Model S Plaid, this parameter will have to be roughly doubled.

Zeekr recently opened pre-sales of the 001 in Europe with a starting price of €55,940. Serial production of Euroversion Zeekr 001 has already begun in China. Moreover, soon Zeekr will start sales in Israel and Kazakhstan.
Zeekr has officially announced that the 001 FR is a special edition of the regular model. It will have increased power and a price tag of over 1 million yuan ($138,700).
