Price drop reaches $3210
Tesla this year is the most likely to change prices for its models. This time around, the prices of Tesla’s best-selling vehicles have declined, with the maximum decline exceeding $3,000.
Model Y prices were already slightly lowered in the second half of May after being raised earlier that month. Now they have been reduced even further. The Model Y Dual-Motor Long-Range AWD is $55,430, $560 less than before.
The rear-wheel drive Model 3 received a $3,210 price cut to $39,530. Tesla indicates on its website that the same model is eligible for up to $3,750 in federal tax credits. The automaker promises to deliver cars during June-July.

According to one version, the automaker just wants to increase its sales and deliveries, so it reduces prices. Strong quarterly results are becoming a hallmark of Tesla.
It’s likely that Tesla is doing its best to liquidate stock in preparation for releasing updated models. Tesla is rumored to be working on an updated version of the Model Y, codenamed Juniper. The car is expected to go on sale in 2024.
