But other Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs cannot boast of this
According to all available data, in the upcoming line of Raptor Lake Refresh processors, only the Core i7 models will significantly improve compared to their predecessors, since they will simply have more cores. And new tests of the Core i7-14700K show how much faster it will be than the Core i7-13700K.
The Core i7-14700K received eight large and 12 small cores versus 8 large and 8 small cores for the Core i7-13700K. The maximum operating frequency will be increased to 5.6 GHz, and the third level cache will be 3 MB more.
Thank you Intel for not a 5% gain.
As a result, for example, in Cinebench R23 the new product is 17% faster than the current model, in CPU-Z the increase is 16%, but where single-threaded performance is important, the difference between the CPUs will be minimal. In games, the novelty is expected ahead, but very slightly, which is also quite expected.
Recall that the Raptor Lake Refresh line should debut in October.
