The advanced mid-range smartphone Galaxy A72 will receive five rear cameras

The novelty, according to the available information, will be the first Samsung smartphone equipped with a five-module camera. The configuration of this pentablock has already been disclosed.

The main module will receive a 64-megapixel sensor. It will be supplemented by a 12-megapixel component with ultra-wide-angle optics, an 8-megapixel module with 3x optical zoom, a 5-megapixel sensor for macro photography, and a 5-megapixel sensor for obtaining information about the depth of the scene.

In the front, a single camera with a 32-megapixel sensor will be installed.

Observers believe that the smartphone will be based on one of the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors with an integrated 5G modem for operation in fifth-generation mobile networks. The display resolution will be at least Full HD +.

According to Gartner’s calculations, in the second quarter of this year, 294.7 million smartphones were shipped worldwide, which is 20.4% less than a year ago. Samsung is the leading supplier with an 18.6% share.
