The base of the new Honda Accord 2023 is a CVT, not an “automatic”
In the US, dealers have already begun receiving the all-new Honda Accord. For a sedan in the base version of the LX, they ask for $27,295.
Such a car is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 192 hp. and a variator (in the past generation there was an “automatic”). It is interesting that, at the same time, the consumption of the new Accord has increased: for the car of the previous generation, it was 7.1 liters (according to official data) in the combined cycle, and now it is 7.4 liters.
For versions LX and EX, the petrol engine has no alternative, and versions from Sport are equipped with a hybrid power plant. It is slightly more powerful (204 hp) and more economical (gasoline consumption is 4.9-5.3 liters per 100 kilometers, depending on the version). The structure of the hybrid power plant includes a 2.0-liter gasoline engine operating on the economical Atkinson cycle.
For the cheapest hybrid Honda Accord 2023 in the US, they ask for $31,895, the cost of the top version of the Touring is $37,890.
The base version of the 2023 Honda Accord has a 10.2-inch screen in front of the driver and a 7-inch screen as part of the media system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The EX version added to this equipment: a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, an audio system with 8 speakers, and heated front seats.
More expensive hybrids are better equipped. So, the top version of the Touring has 19-inch wheels (17-inch in the base), Bose acoustics with 12 speakers, a 12.3-inch screen as part of the media system, a projection screen, 15 W wireless phone charging, ventilation front and heated rear seats.
