Though maybe only the Pro models
It seems that the list of improvements that will be implemented in the smartphones of the iPhone 15 line will be even wider than you might think. According to recent data, Apple will significantly increase the charging capacity of new devices.
The charging power in iPhone 15 smartphones will increase significantly.
The resource 9to5mac talks about the power of 35 watts, although it is not yet clear if this will affect all models and only Pro versions. For now, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus support 20W charging, while the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max offer 27W charging. The boost to 35W for Pro models won’t be huge, but still noticeable, and if 35W charging is also supported by the base iPhone 15 models, then it will be almost a twofold increase for them.
Yes, 35W fades against the background of modern 150W solutions, and even more so the record-breaking 240W, but it’s still good that Apple continues, albeit little by little, to increase charging power.
Recall that last year Apple just introduced a 35W charger with two USB-C connectors, so it’s just right for new products.
